How we handle your data
Last Updated: September 2026
Who can see my idea
You, and nobody else on Evidnt. Every space is locked to its owner at the database level, so no other user can read it, not even by accident. Our small team can reach the database to fix problems and to answer support, and that access is logged.
The only way another person sees your space is a share link you create yourself. It shows names and notes, never emails or phone numbers, and you can switch it off at any time. Search engines are told not to index it.
What happens to my conversations
Conversations stay in your space. Notes, transcripts, insights and the score are read by Evidnt's features and by nothing else.
When someone talks to your Evidnt Assistant, what they say goes to you. Evidnt never contacts them. If they answer by voice, the audio is turned into text and dropped straight away. If you upload a recording of a conversation, the file is deleted the moment the transcript is written.
No conversation content ever goes out in an email. The emails we send you carry counts, names and links, and, if someone agreed to a follow-up call, how to reach them.
Which companies process the data
| Company | What it handles | Trains on your data? |
|---|---|---|
| Anthropic | The AI behind every Evidnt feature: your idea breakdown, questions, outreach kit, patterns, score, the Assistant and the Co-Founder | No |
| OpenAI | Turning voice into text | No |
| Supabase | The database, sign-in and file storage | No |
| Vercel | Hosting the website | No |
| Stripe | Payment. Evidnt never sees your card number | No |
| Resend | Sending the emails Evidnt sends you | No |
Anthropic and OpenAI keep what they process for up to 30 days for safety monitoring, then delete it. Neither trains on it. That is in their commercial terms, not a promise we made up.
Two analytics tools, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, measure how the site is used. They run only after you accept cookies, and they never load on the pages a person reaches through an Assistant link.
How the data is protected
Everything travels encrypted (HTTPS, with HSTS) and sits encrypted (AES-256) in the database and in file storage. Passwords are hashed. Every link Evidnt creates is a long random token that cannot be guessed. The keys that let Evidnt talk to its providers never reach your browser.
How I delete it
Delete a space from Settings and everything in it goes: conversations, transcripts, links, score. Delete your account from the last card on Settings and every space goes with it, plus your sign-in. Both are immediate and neither can be undone.
What we do not claim
Evidnt does not offer end-to-end encryption. Our features have to read your words to work, so the AI providers above process them and our team can reach them to help you. If a tool tells you nobody can read your idea, ask it how its AI works.
