Evidnt MCP + Your Meeting Notes: Turn a Call Into a Logged Conversation
If a tool already records and transcribes your calls, hand the transcript to the Evidnt MCP through your AI app. It becomes a logged conversation, and Evidnt writes its record.

What you need
- The Evidnt MCP connected to Claude or ChatGPT (how to connect it)
- Your meeting-notes tool connected to the same AI app, or the transcript copied out of it
1. Hand over the transcript
If your meeting-notes tool is connected:
Get the transcript of my call with Diego Ramos yesterday and log it in Evidnt as a conversation, exactly as it is. Diego runs operations at a 40-person logistics company.
If you copied the transcript yourself:
Log this in Evidnt as a conversation with Diego Ramos on 27 October, exactly as it is. He runs operations at a 40-person logistics company. [paste the transcript here]
Evidnt needs three things besides the transcript: the person's name, the date of the call, and a line on who they are.
Ask for it exactly as it is. Evidnt stores the transcript as you give it, and its record can only use the words that reached it. A summary in place of the real thing loses the details that end up mattering.
2. Evidnt writes the record
The conversation is saved straight away, and Evidnt writes its record in the background: what the person said about each of your assumptions, with their own words, and the question worth asking next time. When it's ready:
Show me Evidnt's record of my conversation with Diego.
3. See what changed
What are my trends in Evidnt now, and what's my next step?
Typed notes work too
No transcript? Typed notes work the same way. Notes or a transcript need at least 500 characters, and typed notes can run up to 10,000. You can add to them later:
Add this to my notes on the Diego conversation in Evidnt: [your note]
Good to know
- Only log a transcript of a call the other person agreed to have recorded.
- On Free, a logged conversation counts toward your space's 5.
- Conversations your Evidnt Assistant has land in your space on their own, so there is nothing to log for those.
